Introduction
At the outset of the Project, I recalled that our local historian Nick Saunders had written an article on William Rufus for our local paper, the New Milton Advertiser & Lymington Times (the A & T).
As planned, I contacted Nick and he kindly sent me a digital copy of his excellent article that appeared in the A& T in September 2019:

I combined Nick's extra information with the analysis of the Other Publications.
