Silk Industry in Spitalfields & Bethnal Green
I have been intrigued as to whether our ancestor Heinrich/Henry Brecht sold his colour products to silk dyers and weavers in Spitalfields and Bethnal Green.
As part of a Creative Writing project, I spread my wings wide to learn as much as I could about the silk industry and the names of the people engaged in the industry:
