Outstanding Items

At the end of the exercise, there were 5 outstanding items:

1. The marriage of Ellen Collier (father Thomas Collier, Silk Weaver)
- further details of Thomas Collier were sought (Newsletter 1)

2. The parents of Charles Collier, Silk Weaver were wanted (Newsletter 1)
- I had since proved that Charles’ father was James Collier, Carpenter

3. The parents of Elizabeth Sophia Collier
- Were they Charles Henry Collier and Elizabeth? (Newsletter 2)

4. Was Charles Collier’s mother Elizabeth Mason?(Newsletter 3)

5. In which family was a son dis-inherited because he had married a servant? (Newsletter 4)

6. The name of the father of James Collier was needed
- whether there was a James Collier in one of the wills (Newsletter 4)

Next Gaucheron/Kemp/Collier Gathering

A further Gaucheron/Kemp/Collier Gathering was planned:

“our third Gaucheron Gathering will take place on Saturday 8th October 2011. ( 11am - 4pm)

Silk Weavers Named Collier
