Visit to Middlesex (Enfield), Hertfordshire (Wormley) & Essex (Great Hallingbury)
In early 2008 we went to the christening of the daughter of Chris' God-Daughter in Wormley in Herfordshire before going to stay with friends in Ware. We later met up with Chris' cousin (Hunt Family) in Enfield:

Subsequent to the visit to Enfield, another of Chris' cousin sent her a delightful photo of Chris' mother as an infant, taken in Enfield circa 1912:

Phyllis is the baby of a few months old with her eldest sister Lily Hunt standing at the back with the other sister Elsie Hunt.
Remarkably, a great grand-daughter of Lily Hunt found the web-site and contacted us and filled in many gaps in our knowledge of the family.
Eliza (Marjoram) Hunt
More recently, we went through some of the photos which we have kept in an old suitcase in the loft. In the suitcase was a framed photograph of Chris grandmother Eliza Marjoram as a young woman circa 1885:

We took a chance and took the backing off the photo to see if the photo had any details on it. To our surprise, there was another photo underneath! It was a photo circa 1825 of Dorothy Hunt and Bill Eustace wedding in which Chris' mother was a bridesmaid (age about 12):

We sent a copy of the photo to one of Chris' cousins (via her daughter) and it turned out to be her parents'weddingand she had not had a photo of her parents' wedding before. She later picked up the photo when she was on holiday in the New Forest.
Wonderful!
Seabourn(e) Family
This family name has a number of variants and my cousin found one entry in the 1851 Census for Saban!
This spelling of the family name appears to have been used in the Great Hallingbury area where my Great Great Grandfather James Seabourn was born in 1824/5 (per 1851 Census).
During our visit, we went across to Great Hallingbury near Bishops Stortford and took photo's of the church:

Subsequently, I bought some of the Parish Records on fiche from the Essex Record Office. There is a marriage in June 1824 between John Seben/Saban and Mary Howard and this may be the John Seaborn(e)/Seabourn(e) we have been seeking.
