Introduction

My great grandmother was Charlotte Gardner who married Henry Thomas Hayes in 1869.

Progress has been slow becuase of the name variants including Gardiner,Gardener and Garner, all of which are quite common names.

Also my great great grandfather Edward Gardner married twice and I have yet to trace his marriage certificates which would give me his wives' maiden names.
