The Murrays of Hoopers Hill

It took me years to prove that it was Mary Fawcett who kept the Calling Book after she married Henry Stuart Murray.

Since then I have obtained information about the couple living at Hoopers Hill in Angel Lane, New Milton.

Information Obtained

2. An envelope stamped Fareham 7 January 1904

3. Another envelope dated 4 May 1908

4. Entry in the 1911 Census

5. Entry in 1921 Census

6. Release of Trusts 1922

7. Entry in the 1939 England & Wales Register

2. An envelope stamped Fareham 7 January 1904

Letter addressed to Mrs Stuart Murray at Hoopers Hill, New Milton S.O.

The back of the envelope indicates that the envelope appears to have been stamped at Warsash on 7 January 1904 and then Brockenhurst Railway Sub Office on 8 January 1904



3. Another envelope dated 4 May 1908

Condolence envelope from Cambridge addressed to the daughter Ruby at Hoopers Hill, New Milton and stamped May 4 1908:

 

The back of the envelope indicates that the envelope was received at Brockenhurst Railway Sub Office postmark May 5 1908.
