Visit to Plymouth 2024

During our visit, I picked up an excellent map at the Information Centre, which shows the main City Centre to the right in red and Devonport to the extreme left. Devonport Column and Devonport Guildhall are indicated in A4.
In the City are 2 churches that feature in our family tree:
- in J4, St Andrews Church near the large roundabout on Royal Parade, and to the right
- in K4, the ruins of Charles Cross Church located on nthe other large roundabout
The former villages of Sutton and Stoke Damerel do not appear on the map but Stonehouse is indictaed in A4.
The church in Stoke Damerel is not shown on the map but it is in Paradise Road in D2.
Nearby are 2 large green areas mentioned in the books that I obtained:
- Devonport Park in B1 and
- the Brickfids (Recreation Ground) in C3.
