Further Visit to Plymouth 11 December 2024
In preparation for a return visit to Plymouth, I obtained some additional infomation on Ancestry which filled out our knowledge of the Neville Family:
There was not a lot of time to find out more.
On the visit, I bought a history book, Devon Through Time, which had a little amount of history of Stoke Damerel:
I also obtained a map of Plymouth which enabled me to trace the location of Stoke Damerel Church in Paradise Road in North West Plymouth.
After the visit, I obtained a booklet, Plymouth Dock to Devonport, from the Devon FHS. Again there was a small amount of information about Stoke Damerel :
We definitely gained from the preparation for the visit and the visit itself.
I would have liked to have seen Stoke Damerel Church but Iam not expecting to visit Plymouth again.
